Getting Authentication Failed while trying to view output of reports in R12

In R12 we can mail report to particular email address, and when we trying to open that report then getting "AUTHENTICATION FAILED" message in internet explorer.

this is because of BUG in profile option

Viewer: MIME Type for Text" is set to "application/msword"

Clause: if ms word takes to long time to start , IE probably reruns the request, but at this time the registration of the wanted output has been deleted. And this results in the "authentication failed".

Solution: the problem does not happen using netscape. the problem can be avoided by having MS word started up before trying to view the ouptput or log.
