ORA-7445 [kwqidafc0()] Followed by ORA-25326 and ORA-01089 Errors

One of our production box I am getting the following error during shutdown.

ORA-07445: exception encountered: core dump [ACCESS_VIOLATION] [_kwqidafc0+124] [PC:0x11BD280] [ADDR:0x4] [UNABLE_TO_READ] []ORA-25326: Array dequeue operation failed for message at index 1ORA-01089: immediate shutdown in progress - no operations are permitted

Our database is running at 10.2.0.4 with Oct'08 cpu applied. on windows 2003 platforms.

when I searched on metalink then found the following notes

#NOTE: 741999.1

It is becuase of BUG and fixed in the 10.2.0.5 patchset or 11g.

But for temporary workaround:

set the following parameter

SQL>alter system set "_first_spare_parameter"=0 scope=spfile

Restart the instance.
